Seascape_-_photo_by_Simon_Devitt_(7)This remote beachside cottage is located in New Zealand on the Seascape Banks Peninsula, made from the eroded remnants of two large composite volcanoes. Built on a tiny boulder strewn South Pacific cove, Auckland-based Pattersons Associates Architects did an incredible job integrating the structure into the natural landscape. The cottage consists of three rooms- a lobby, a living/sleeping room and a bathroom. Designed originally in 2011 as a honeymoon destination, Seascape Retreat is now not only for lovers but also those who like to escape in style. The secluded property has spectacular views of the rocky beach from inside the house throughout.
