Located on New Zealand‘s Waiheke Island, the Owhanake Bay house was designed by Strachan Group Architects. The single level home turns its back on the city to engage the view east over the outer islands of the Hauraki Gulf. The Owhanake Bay house is divided into three narrow pavilions, bending to follow the natural contours of the surrounding environment. The home features two bath-houses, reflection pools, spa, outdoor fire pits, and more. In addition, the house is built with a translucent polycarbonate roof, that allows filtered natural light into the home.
