This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the legendary German high-performance tuning company AMG. In honor of the milestone, Mercedes-AMG is rolling out three new special edition models during the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March. The first model is the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50. It’s based on the standard AMG flagship, and is essentially an appearance package that adds matte Graphite Grey paint and black chrome accents on the side skirts, front splitter, air intakes, and rear diffuser. Only 500 models will be built worldwide, with just 50 coming to the US. Overall, the minimalist design is sleek and bold.
The second model is the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet with the AMG Performance Studio Package. It’s essentially an appearance package that includes a number of grey and black accents inside and out. The radiator grille uses black accents, and the trim on the splitter, rear bumper, side skirts, and spoiler are all blacked out.
The final car is the Mercedes-AMG C43 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition. Each of the 150 models are designed with a certain interior accent bits in a unique ocean blue hue. The color extends to the trim on the bumper, wheel center caps, and contrasting stitching in the grey interior.
