LAND ROVER TO DEBUT ‘TRANSPARENT HOOD’ AT NEW YORK AUTO SHOW

British car manufacturer Land Rover is looking to change the auto industry with the release of their all new transparent hood. With visibility being one of the major issues with vehicles today, the new safety feature will be unveiled at this months New York Auto Show. The ‘Transparent Hood System‘ uses a web of cameras and projectors that creates a visible area directly in front of the car on the hood. In addition, there will be a display system along the lower half of the windshield that will show the driver speed, incline, roll angle, steering position and driver mode. For now, limited details have been released surrounding the Transparent Hood System.
