Bugatti recently announced its six part “Bugatti Legends” limited edition collection, a tribute to Grand Prix racing’s most iconic figures. All six designs from the limited edition Legends collection are based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grant Sport Vitesse. The first car from the collection to be released is a tribute to historic Grand Prix Motor Racing driver and Bugatti’s own Jean-Pierre Wimille. Borrowing design aesthetics from the Bugatti 57G Tank that Wimille drove in 1937, the limited edition car is finished with a French signature blue clear-coated carbon fiber and light Wimille Bleu paintwork.
