ronnie-fieg-puma-tokyo-sakura-projectNew York based sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg has once again teamed up with PUMA for a special collection dubbed the, ‘Tokyo Sakura Project.’ Comprised of one of PUMA’s most-loved silhouettes, the R698, the pack also includes a new model named the RF698 Mid, after Ronnie Fieg. Both unisex models feature colorways inspired by nature in Japan, with the R698 representing seasonal transition with a light color palette, and the RF698 Mid with a darker color palette. The upper on the R698 model features micro-perforated pigskin suede, with burgundy in the toe box and light pink in the quarter panels. On the other hand, the RF698 Mid features a heightened silhouette with a mid-cut collar boasting horizontal quilting and a navy micro-perforated nubuck toe box. Interested? The R698 retails for $150 USD, while the RF698 Mid for $165 USD.
