NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: TIMO WEILAND S/S 2013 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

September 10, 2012 The Unbiased Writer

For New York Fashion Week, American designers Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein use their fascination with artist Keith Haring and his involvement in New York’s ’80s hip-hop scene as inspiration for their latest menswear collection. Kicking off the show with black and white looks reminiscent of Haring’s iconic black and white figure images, the designers attempted to capture the style of Haring’s works. The hip-hop influence within the  collection was evident in the laid-back athletic elements found in pieces such as the baseball jacket, track pants, hoodies, and color-blocked shorts. Check out the images from  Timo Weiland’s New York Fashion Week runway show below, and as always, let us know what you think!
