A rare life-size bronze cast of Alberto Giacometti’s “L’Homme Qui Marche I,” better known as “Walking Man,” improbably became the most expensive piece of art ever to sell at auction today, selling for$104,327,006. I think this is amazing! The amount some are willing to spend on pieces of art fascinate me, but art collecting is an industry within itself.
