David Beckham’s recent collaboration with the iconic sports fashion company Adidas should not come as a surprise. The LA Galaxy star recently had a party to launch his new men’s line Originals by Originals. Beckham co-designed the entire line with James Bond, owner of Undefeated Footwear. The fall/winter line features lots of leather, cashmere, and silk, taking inspiration from classic American sports wear designs.
In addition, the line showcases sneakers in vibrant yellow, orange and blue hues along with a more staid black color that was inspired by mixing luxury and street-wear styles. Beckham’s collaboration is part of the second season rollout for the Originals by Originals concept, which aims to bring unique individuals and style icons together to create unique clothing collections. Last season Adidas pegged designer Jeremy Scott. David Beckham’s line, which is comprised from shoes to accessories, will hit stores nationwide soon. At the star-studded event held to celebrate the launch of his line, Beckham sported an ensemble from the collection. Could he follow in the footsteps of his wife Victoria Beckham (Rock n’ Republic clothing line owner) and become a successful designer himself? What do you think?
