According to sources, Warner Music Group will be sold for $3 billion this week. Warner Music Group encompasses Atlantic Records, Reprise Records and EastWest Records among others. Right now there is a bid war between Len Blavatnik’s Access Industry and  Tom and Alec Gores’ Platinum Equity and Gores Group. Both own a series of powerful media and communication companies. It will be interesting to see the effect the switch will have on the current artist under the label which includes: Wiz Khalifa, B.o.B, Mac Miller, Lupe Fiasco, and more. What do you think?
