According to  reports, historic New York venue Roseland Ballroom is set to close it’s doors for good in April. Located on New York City‘s 52nd Street, the venue which is owned by developer Larry Ginsberg and is booked by Live Nation was originally opened in 1919. A favorite among bands, the site developed overtime from a ballroom dancefloor in the 1920’s to hosting the current top crop of EDM artists. Since its $1 million renovation back in the early ’90s, the venue has booked high profile acts including Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, Madonna and more! As of now, representatives from the Roseland Ballroom and Live Nation have not responded to Unbiased Writer’s request for comment. Check back for updates, and as always, let us know what you think!
