According to sources, Amy Winehouse has almost finished recording her new album and is set to fly out to Jamaica next week to lay down the final touches. While she may hope to have a party-fuelled trip, her management and record label are keen to keep things on the straight and narrow. “She’s been told it’s not a party,” a source said, “she has to work.” In 2009, Winehouse spent eight months holidaying (and supposedly recording) in St Lucia. With her recent encounters with the law, and a troubled personal life, it will be interesting to see how her new album will do. What do you think?

This is very exciting news! I hope she doesn’t allow the drugs to get the best of her again, she has ICON potential…not many of the artists now adays actually have talent, so if she cleans up her act she can take off once again!

ummmmm… I think that she should get healthy before emerging again. After the album just means a tour, which could be the start of all of the drama all over again. Sadly, her craziness has become the industry’s joke. She can have all of the talent in the world, but it won’t mean anything unless she gets it together. :/ look at Whitney.
