According to sources, the iconic London recording studio, Abbey Road, has been put on the market by EMI. The Financial Times reported that the sale of the studio could raise tens of millions, which should ease EMI’s debt burden. The property was origianlly purchased by EMI in 1929 and was converted into recording studios that [...]
Hopefully whoever purchases the studio will appreciate its historic value and keep it intact, either as a usable and running studio or a museum piece.
