Will Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford reprise their famous galactic roles in the next “Star Wars” film? It seems that we can almost count on it. George Lucas has spoken with Bloomberg Businessweek, stating, “We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison — or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation.” Lucas’ quote refers to the time directly before Disney’s $4 billion acquisition of Lucasfilm last December. Even so, it seems the original stars of the series will reunite with Disney at the reigns and J.J. Abrams directing. In a Q&A with Palm Beach Illustrated, Carrie Fisher has confirmed that she will adorn her iconic bagel buns once again for her role as Princess Leia. As for Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, both have been rumored to have signed on the dotted line for another trip to a galaxy far, far away. All that’s left is to see if the Force is strong enough to reunite the trio in 2015’s “Star Wars: Episode VII.” And as always, be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section below!
