The Hollywood Mastersa series that takes an in-depth look at the life and career of Hollywood icons is headed to Netflix. Moderated by The Hollywood Reporter‘s Stephen Galloway, each half-hour episode of Hollywood Masters is filmed on the campus of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television in front of a student audience. Netflix has licensed three seasons of Hollywood Masters, which will be available to stream on August 1st. The first season will feature talent including Ethan Hawke and Billy Bob Thornton, Clint Eastwood, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Amy Adams, Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), George Miller (Mad Max) and Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity); producer-actor-musician Ice Cube (Straight Outta Compton); Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn, and more. The Hollywood Masters not only introduces viewers to the best of global filmmaking, but it’s also produced by our students and alumni, giving them hands-on training, professional credits and furthering their careers in the industry,” said Stephen Ujlaki, dean of the School of Film and Television. “We are so thrilled that this series, which has become one of our school’s most anticipated programs, will be available on Netflix for the world to see.”
