HBO| ‘ENTOURAGE’, ‘HUNG’, WITH LOW RATINGS

July 1, 2010 The Unbiased Writer

Sunday showed a dip in ratings for HBO comedy season premieres.  ‘Hung’, which follows a struggling high school basketball coach (Thomas Jane), and ‘Entourage’, the popular series about a Hollywood actor (Adrian Grenier) and his entourage, saw a 13% and 25% respective drop in viewers from their season premieres in 2009.

Although it’s “not TV, it’s HBO”, the ratings may be a reflection of other events on Sunday stealing the attention from the premieres.  The statistics are far better when the numbers for the additional airings of both of the shows are included.  What do you think?

I think people are finally getting over the show…I don;t know I was never a huge fan to begin with so this comes as no surprise.
