September 26, 2012 The Unbiased Writer

According to reports, the sequel to ‘Dumb And Dumber’ has been given an official title, and the writer-directors of the film confirm they are ‘almost done’ with the script. The directors of the film announced via Twitter that the film would be named, ‘Dumb and Dumber To.’ In April of 2012, plans for the sequel were confirmed by Peter Farrelly, one half of the film-making duo. The project appeared to fall apart over the summer when Jim Carrey reportedly pulled out and his co-star Jeff Daniels announced that ‘it’s not happening.’ However, Daniels backtracked last month saying, ‘We’re all hoping that it’ll come together early next year,’ insisting that he, Carrey and the Farrelly Brothers were still on. Written and directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, the original ‘Dumb And Dumber‘ was released in 1994 and starred Carrey and Daniels as dim-witted friends on a road trip. Stay tuned for updates on the sequel, and as always, let us know what you think in the comment section below!
