According to multiple reports, a sequel to the iconic comedy flick Coming to America is reportedly in the works. Originally released back in 1988, the film starred Eddie Murphy as the prince of Zamunda who attempts to find a wife in the US. The film generated over $288 million worldwide and was nominated for two Academy Awards. The sequel to Coming to America is in the early stages of pre-production and will be backed by Paramount Productions. Original writers David Sheffield and Barry W. Blaustein have signed on to the project, however, Eddie Murphy has yet to confirm if he will join the cast. Stay tuned for updates!
