WWII AIR CONTROL TOWER CONVERTED INTO AIRBNB

January 29, 2019 The Unbiased Writer

Located on Scotland’s North Coast, the HMS Owl Air Control Tower is a former military base that was used as an outpost during WWII. The building went through a five-year renovation to convert the property into a cozy living space for a family and AirBNB guesthouse. The design maintains its uniquely upcycled war-era glamour, donning a matte-black exterior with exposed brick walls and factory-esque fixtures.

If you’re interested, the family is currently hosting guests for approximately $100 USD a night via AirBNB.
