Eating is one of the most important parts of everyday living. The food we eat is our source of energy and nutrition. In other words, as the saying goes, ‘you are what you eat.’ Through your food diet we can get a glimpse of a person’s lifestyle. You may be wondering what is healthy food? And no, the lettuce on your burger doesn’t count! Its a scientific fact ( no bias) that fresh food is healthy and important to include in your regular diet. Over the years, I’ve become a big fan of the local farmers market in my area. Living in the city, its often hard to find farm fresh produce, and an even bigger challenge keeping it fresh. Let’s face it, half the time you buy fresh produce from the grocery store it ends up going bad after a few days. GE‘s new Freshpedition aims to change that, and take ordinary product testing to another level. GE‘s new French Door Refrigerator is put to the ultimate test in their Freshpedition across 2,000 miles. Chef Ben Sargent, and GE Engineer Justin Berger hooked the refrigerator to the back of the their truck and filled it with the freshest food they could find.
