According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s crash-testing program, Tesla‘s Model X has been awarded perfect scores in every category. The Model X is the first ever SUV to hit five stars in every single category which analyzes vehicle’s structure. The assessment looks at how safe drivers are in the passenger cabin, as well as the airbag system and seat belts. The five star rating given to the Model X means there is a 93% probability of walking away from a major crash without a serious injury. Not surprisingly, the only car in history to receive a better score was Tesla‘s Model S. In related news, Tesla founder Elon Musk unveiled their highly anticipated Model Y at the company’s annual shareholders meeting.
