Apple’s highly anticipated Apple Watch has finally received a tentative release date. Earlier today Apple’s CEO Tim Cook announced they will begin shipping the Apple Watch in April, during the company’s quarterly earnings call with investors. Apple enjoyed a massive quarter backed by enormous iPhone sales and large growth in China. In 2015, Apple looks to carry the success forward with the launch of Apple Watch, its first major new product since the debut of iPad in 2010. ‘We’re making great progress in the development of it,’ Cook said. ‘We’re seeing some incredible innovation.’
Apple Watch will be made available in three styles: the regular model, an Apple Watch Sport version aimed at active consumers, and an ultra-premium Apple Watch Edition that could be priced in the thousands to compete in the luxury watch market. Be sure to keep an eye out!
