‘Snackbox‘ is a new food venture by two Montreal-based firms that turns a shipping container into a modern canteen, serving food in New York’s Times Square. The containers sells gourmet New York style street food inside a pedestrian saturated area off Broadway. Cool news: the vending station is entirely self-sufficient & uses power from hybrid energy systems. Designed to contrast the colorful environment of Times Square, the black and white container optimizes space, and is able to transform from closed to open with a full service area within minutes.
