The Cosmopolitan casino in Las Vegas is set to start broadcasting animated artwork of contemporary British artist Tracey Emin. Part of a project called Pause, the casino, which opened in 2010 features various art displays throughout the hotel. In total, about eight indoor and outdoor marquees will go black every hour, while an invisible hand writes phrases from Emin’s artwork  such as ‘I promise to love you’ in glowing letters. The casino’s marketing director was quoted saying, ‘It will be a moment of magic, and leave someone with a story to tell. We have a very strong point of view that our guests are really interested and interesting. The Cosmopolitan aims to present the same type and level of experience its big city customers can find at home.’ Through her work, the artist hopes to give viewers a moment to reflect on love amid the hustle and bustle of the Strip. If you happen to be in Vegas, make sure to drop by and check it out! As always, let us know what you think in the comment section below!
