Over the years, American contemporary artist, Shepard Fairey, has pasted posters all over the world, making his artwork work iconic. His work is included in the collections at The Smithsonian, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Paris‘s Magda Danysz Gallery has put a collection of over 200 prints of Shepard Fairey work gathered over a ten year period on display. Fairey‘s mix of political propaganda, bold imagery, and typography have strongly influenced the graphic culture. If you happen to be in Paris anytime soon be sure to stop by and see Fairey’s collection at the Magda Danysz Gallery. Check out the images below from the gallery courtesy of Karl Hab. The show is now open, and will run through June 18, 2011. What do you think?
