A new art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone has erected in the desert just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. Dubbed Seven Magic Mountains, the art installation is comprised of seven towers of stacked boulders painted in bright colors. Referencing the art of meditative rock balancing while expressing the human impact on the natural landscape of the desert, the Play-Doh-like rock structures are located 10 miles outside of Las Vegas. Adjacent to Ivanpah Valley’s Sheep Mountain, Ugo Rondinone‘s art installation will be on display for two years. Check out the images below: Interested?
