van-gogh-bedroomIn honor of their upcoming exhibition ‘Van Gogh’s Bedrooms,’ the Art Institute of Chicago created a real life replica of Van Gogh’s 1888 painting of his own bedroom in the ‘Yellow House’ in Arles, France. Starting today, interested guests can rent the brightly colored apartment in Chicago for only $10/night through Airbnb. Listed on the site by ‘Van Gogh‘ himself, the description says, ‘I’m charging $10 for no other reason than that I need to buy paint. The Art Institute of Chicago’s exhibition showcases all three versions for the first time in North America, offering an in-depth look at their meaning to Van Gogh.
