‘THE JOHN LENNON PHANTOM V’ WILL GO ON DISPLAY IN LONDON

The John Lennon Phantom V‘ will be featured in a new Rolls-Royce exhibition entitled ‘The Great Eight Phantoms.’ Set to take place at Bonhams in London, members of the public will be able to see the colorful car on display from July 29th- August 2nd. John Lennon‘s customized Phantom V was designed in true rock-star style and was originally unveiled days before the worldwide release of Sgt. Pepper’s. Regularly used by Lennon until 1969, the rear seat was converted to a double bed with a television and refrigerator. Complete with a ‘floating’ record player and custom sound system, the car was donated by billionaire Jim Pattison to the Royal British Columbia Museum in Canada.Take a closer look below:
