The Red Hot Chili Peppers‘s Flea, recently teamed up with London-based artist Damien Hirst to collaborate on a new spun guitar series. Limited to only 125 guitars, the ‘multi colored deluxe spin’, ‘black and white’, and ‘color spin bass guitar’ are each signed by Hirst and Flea on the back with an edition number on the base of the neck. Proceeds from each sale will benefit Flea‘s non-profit organization, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. The primary focus of the Los Angeles-based charity is to enrich the lives of youth from the community through affordable or free music lessons and instruments. In addition, the organization believes the study of music to be one of the most powerful agents of positive change within a society. Check out the collection of guitars below, and as always, let us know what you think?
