THE RED HILL FARM HOUSE IN AUSTRALIA

October 31, 2018 The Unbiased Writer

Architecture and interior design firm Carr recently completed a new house in rural Australia dubbed the ‘Red Hill Farm House.’ Located on a small rise with distant views of the horseshoe shaped coastline, the property is defined by sweeping meadows full of livestock. Comprised of three elongated pavilions that form a U shape, the exterior has a monochromatic appearance made from blackened timber. Outfitted with soft oak throughout the interior, the home is connected with the surrounding rural landscape.
