LICHEN HOUSE IN SONOMA VALLEY

Taking design inspiration from the organism it was named after, the Lichen House is made from a porous and breathable outer shell. Located on a hillside in California’s Sonoma Valley, the home’s structure features large overhangs that provide shade while metal fin trellis allows light to filter through. Each wing of the Lichen House is an individual microclimate that allows every room to have its own unique air-flow, natural lighting, and views. Take a closer look below:
