Built as a rural retreat located on a small plot in Hanmer Springs, New Zealand, the Bach Family House takes inspiration from a modern campsite. Comprised of three timber cabins organized around a central terrace, the largest cabin contains the main living area as well as a kitchen and bedroom. All of the cabin structures have direct access to the communal patio with a dining table and fire pit looking out onto Hanmer Plain.
